Ridiculously crystal clear coloured body with a slight honey glow, but literally looks more like pure water than any other beer/cider I've ever had. Aroma of funk and very nice dry hop notes with a quite pungent apple and honey scent - nice and strong throughout. Light-bodied; Strong apple flavour with a very dry bite at first with a crisp red apple flavour showing some light hops, but more of a pronounced funk and grassy character with the apples of course than anything else. Aftertaste is quite simple and straight-forward with some dry and hoppy notes showing through the apples and crisp honey flavour at first, but after a longer while, the apples really are the only things noticeable. Overall, a decent cider with more flavours than typical, but still not enough to show that it is complex enough to drink on a daily basis and definitely a bit too straight-forward for even this style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 22-October-2017 for US$3,29 after running the USMC Marathon 2017 for my seventh time, sampling this beer at home in Washington on 12-December-2017.
