Cask (handpump) @ Marble Arch, Manchester, England M4.Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, honey, buttery notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (280708)

Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 Poured clear golden with a nice bubbly white head. Some honey on nose but it is more apparent in the mouth which unfortunately adds to the sweetness. Lacks that hoppy crispness that is found in a lot of other Castle Rock pale beers and for once Castle Rock are decidely average with a golden beer, its ok but nowt special.
