Tasted at the Great Taste of the Midwest, 2015. I am not sure why they would call this a Muncher Rauchbier. This is a Bamberg style Rauchbier, from northern Bavaria. In any event, it is probably the best smoked beer I have had at the festival today. Very dark brown, big smoke aroma and flavor, dry malt and some very mild hops. They got the flavor and the aroma right.
