According to the waiter, funkestad, like "funky town." Served in a weizen glass, with an unnecessary slice of room temperature lemon. Hazy, opaque dark yellow color and a nice white head. Aroma has banana, clove, appropriate to the style. Great palate, sweet, more banana, some bubblegum here. Full flavored, and one of the best American hefeweizens I have ever tried. I spent some time trying to find any mention of this beer online, but had no results. Summit Hefeweizen has not been brewed for about four years, so I am confident this is a new beer.
