(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 30 Dec 2015) Dark amber colour with brief head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, dried fruit, toast, raisins and aromas of cellar. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, sweet malt, burnt sugar, cellar and a gentle spicy bitterness in a finish with a sweet alcohol bite. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and well made classic English barley wine/old ale. Nice one.
