A pale yellow beer with a surprisingly malty nose. The sweetish taste is also malty yet quickly becomes crisp and lightly citrus. Bittersweet, lemony, lingering malt finish. A fruity bitter named after the brewery's home town.

On cask at Wentworth Hotel, Attercliffe - Nice looking hazy golden body, thick white head. Nose is unremarkable, but with a lemony citrus hop thing going on with the malty overtones. Taste is light, crisp and fruity, with a short finish. Nothing special but it was nice to find a handpull that was on (after the other four were flipped on our entry).

Bottled. A light golden beer with a huge bubbly white head - due to high carbonation. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of lemongrass, while the falvor is sweet with notes of both straw and lemongrass. The body is thin. Thanks to fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.

Bottle, thx to fonefan for sharing. It pours a pale, yellowish body with a nice, white head. Citrusy, dusty and sour aroma with a spicy touch. Spiced start on the flavor, before the dusty, citrusy and sour flavors take control. Some bitterness growing stronger towards the very end. Still, not anywhere near saving the impression of this beer which surely had gone bad. Medium to thin in the mouth. It’s a pity it was gone bad, as there were some intersting flavors in it. (080822)

Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Bit of a haze/pale gold, with lasting whtie head. Yeast and decent lemon grapefruit aroma. It’s a pretty good golden beer actually. Good citrus, good balance. Not overly hoppy, but fine.
