Silky smooth, rich and yet somehow sessionable. Lazarus is a beer that took us years to perfect and now a firm favourite of our range. Pour the can hard and fast to activate the Nitrogen locked inside and pair with smoked salmon and oysters.

[33cl nitro can from Beer52.] An almost black pour with a tight beige head and an attractive tawny brown colour when held to the light; chocolate aroma; quite thin in the mouth with a milky chocolate taste; and a dry finish. A easy drinking light stout.

330ml can. Nitro stout but not much magic happening despite hard pour. Was left with a nice creamy looking beige head though. Aroma of dark malts, moderate roastiness, chocolate and blackcurrant. Taste follows aroma, flavour nice if a little thin but its meant to be sessionable in a Guinness like way. There is some creaminess but not as smooth as a Guinness. I enjoyed it though.
