This double IPA is bigger in every way but still retains a dry finish that hides its strength. Massive fruit aromas and flavours combined with hazy golden looks and chewy body really do make this beer a stone fruit pulp fest!

7-4-7-4-14 Can, almost two months after canning. Pours hazy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is grassy hops with green berries and cassis, as well as tropical notes of mango, pineapples, papaya, grapefruit and some soapy notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dank hops with tropical notes of ripe mango, papaya, passion fruits and citrusy notes of grapefruit and lime, as well as gooseberries, musty currants and fruit pits. Very green, dank and musty, and not really very moreish. Just the one can was still quite enjoyable though.

3 July 2020. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Cheers, Anke, Pieter, Meeki & Ama Deke! Clear golden with a stable, thin, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of leek, turnip, white pepper, mandarin, mashed pineapple, lime, onion, vague chicken broth. Taste has sweetish mandarin, papaya & turnip, sour zesty lime, soft doughy malt, bitter pine with a hint of spice. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, dank & oniony, more yellow fruit, bit alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Weird nose for the style. Taste-wise too but at least there's more pulp.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20200625) The beer poured golden and nearly cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, floralness, citricness, spiciness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A pleasant hoppy brew with fruity and spicy notes. Alcohol was well hidden.

Hoppy and fruity, lots of tropical fruit and sweetness that turns into a bit of bitterness. Good stuff.
