473mL can, pours a hazy dull golden with a small white head. Nose is fairly dull, with some bready malt, not really much in the way of hop expression. Flavour is much the same, with bready malt, not much else. It’s clean, sure, but it is totally uninteresting.

Pale, slight haze, not much head. It's got a clean pale malt character, light bitterness. It's decent, as generic lager goes. "Chinese yeast" - I guess Tsingtao? - is a cute touch. At least a shout-out to the tank beer in Qingdao is always fun, even if I'm not eating shellfish, which is the normal accompaniment for that type of beer.
