Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Tap at Deschutes: Dark brown pour with a finger of brown head. Nice bits of lacing. Smells lightly roasty, chocolate, and a faint coffee/mocha. Flavor is milder in the roast and more centered around chocolate and coffee. Imo, this has a lot of mocha elements... A lot like Black Butte, but softer and less intense. Nice offering.
