330 ml slimline can. ABV is 4.7%. Brewed with ecological (organic) ingredients. Crystal clear pale yellow beer with big bubbles and a decent white head. Sweetish aroma, fruity first, then only some maize and grain notes remain. Fizzy mouthfeel. Sweetish and sugary flavour, some malty notes, minimal bitterness. Drinkable, but far from interesting, and over-priced.

Mack launced its new series Fluid in early October 07. Fluid is ecologically brewed and according to the advertisement only the fines raw materials have been used. The modern design on the four-pack and on the cans has also been stressed. However, the design does not make me think of beer, but rather of clothes.
My rating is based on three cans with The Fine Lager (330ml, 4.7% ABV). Pours a creamy, white head with moderate duration. Clear straw coloured body. Grassy aroma with light hints of fruity hops. Grain and pale malt in flavour offset by a brush of lemon. Some bitterness can be detected at the ending. Soft and a bit foamy mouthfeel. Moderate palate. One of the best of its kind from Mack - which does not really say a lot (Tromsø, Oct.07).
