Bottle @ Aarons Oldman Buttcrack Again Share. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of burned wood, vanilla, dark chocolate, fudge, dark fruits, booze, bready malts. Taste has lots of burned wood up front, tar, dark chocolate, light roast, fudge, vanilla, milk chocolate in the back with a boozy warm finish. Fuck. Me.

Jet-black beer, pouring viscously as motor oil. Chocolate, hot spirit, alcohol and fusels. Sweet taste, with chocolate, fine pipe tobacco, vanilla, cocos. Lots of spirit and oak, finishing in intense chocolate flavours. Ultra-thick, velvety feel, fiery alcoholheat. It would be silly to call this beer defective in any way, but it does not live up to its fame, let alone its price.

From bottle shared at Gebrande Winning event, thanks. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells of cinnamon, maple, marzipan, bit nutty, earthy, very nice smell. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of cinnamon, marzipan, bitter chocolate, earthy, peepery. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of cinnamon, marzipan and some peppery notes. bit strong on the peppery notes but overall very good one 8, 4, 7, 3, 17

Thanks Ben for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing a full bodied pitch black with no head. The nose shows light notes of roasted malt and coffee. The palate is full bodied, oily, and lightly carbonated. Strong alcoholic spiciness. Lightly sweet with moderately intense notes of dark chocolate and finishing on a moderate coffee bitterness. The lack of chocolate to balance out the dark chocolate seems quite odd but could use it to balance it out to the finish.
