Ein uriges, malzbetontes Traditionsbier! Extra lange Reifung und die hohe Stammwürze sorgen für einen mächtigen, barocken Körper. Passend dazu macht die tiefdunkle Kastanienfarbe, gepaart mit der festen, cremigen Schaumkrone, diesen Doppelbock zu einem Bier für die besonderen Tage.

"Schinner Markator", Flasche von Ambrosetti, 17.8.2025. - Dunkles Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase fettes, sirupartig karamelsüßes Toastmalz mit eher plumper herbaler Hopfengrundierung. - Antrunk fett karamelsüß toastmalzig, nussig, leicht röstmalzig, Kaffee, leise Bitterschokolade. Ausreichende herbale Hopfung, die in recht derbe Bittere übergeht. Milder rezent, breit, gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang malzbitter und plump hopfenbitter. - Mächtig malzschwerer dunkler Doppelbock, zwar ausreichend hopfenbitter aber ohne feinere Hopfenaromen, ohne die Finesse und Komplexität der besten fränkischen Böcke.

50 cl bottle. Strong sweet malts and liquorice aroma.Dark amber color.Roasted malts , stone fruits, caffee and caramel. Medium body. One of the most intense beers ttried in the last times.

Clear reddish brown colour with lacy head. Really rich aroma. Almost like a barley wine. Bready, malty, sweet dried fruits. Sweet taste. Dried fruits. Silky texture.

500ml bottle. Clear, dark ruby colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, dark toffee, a touch of toasted nuts. Taste is toasty, dark malty, subtle residual sweetness, hints of malt lozenge, candied almond, a touch of treacle, dark toffee. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally repellent palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively sweet, a tad monotonous - OK.

Schön malzig-cremiger Schaum, Antrunk leicht süßlich-malzig, zum Hauptteil hin schon fast dickflüssig und sehr süß. Eine leichte Schärfe ist spürbar, aber die 7,2% schmeckt man nicht wirklich.Der Nachgeschmack wird leicht herb, aber die malzige Süße bleibt dominierend. Auf der Zunge verbleibt eine süßlich-klebrige Malznote, ein ganz Bißchen Röstmalzaroma ist spürbar...
--> Das Bier ist für meinen Geschmack viel zu süß-klebrig. Etwas mehr Röstmalz und weniger Süße würden dem Bier sicher gut tun!

Bottle @ Bamberg. BB 08/11. Pours ruby amber with a small stable creamy head. Nose is caramel and dark fruit. Sweet and vinous flavor - almost Barley Wine like. Smooth and oily. Nice sipper.

Swing-top bottle. Prune malt aroma - light astringency. Clear dark copper color with moderate head. Sweet light prune malt flavor with a moderate bitter/astringent finish. Decent flavor but on the light side for a doppelbock.
