10/I/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: XII/12 (2013-8) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the bottle!
Clear red brown beer, big irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: mocha, caramel, grains, chocolate, hay, hint of dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: some mocha and coffee, sourish touch, toast, bit watery. Aftertaste: bit sour, bitter, some coffee, sugar, burnt toast, cocoa powder, dry and bitter ending. Not bad at all. For a Mediterranean. :-p

Dobre piwo szwarzbier z gorącego kraju. Ciemne i zdecydowanie palony słód dominuje w tym piwie. Słodycz jest ukryta i zdezydowanie przytłoczona przez dymne i palone słody

330ml bottle. Clear dark brown with small to average, frothy, beige head. Dark malty and slightly roasty aroma, minimally grainy overtone. Taste is roasty with a tendency toward metallic, slightlly dry, lively to fizzy carbonation eliminates parts of existing flavours.

A deep dark brown schwarzbier with a thick receeding brown head. A rather doughy chocolate malt in aroma, with some light coffee notes, caramel. In mouth, a sweet chocolate malt with grainy notes, nice roastiness coming out, lightly peaty. Not bad. 12 on. bottle from MLCC Grant Park.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured dark brown with a frothy brown head with a lasting head. Aroma is malty, slightly sweet. Flavour is roasted malt, sweetness disturbes a bit. Finish is more on the dry side. Watery.
