500 ml can. Pale golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet malt and straw. Flavor is malty, watery and metallic bitter. A rather standard summer pilsner that could have been better without this metallic aftertaste.

500ml can. Clear golden body. Fast fading, white foam. Metallic aroma mixed with malt. Clean tasting with hints grassy sweetness, hay and earth. Very anonymous, however. Watery and thin bodied (16.05.2007).

(Can 50 cl) Clear, pale golden with a creamy, white head. Lightly tart malt aroma. Fairly light-bodied with some malt thrown in. Quite hoppy in the finish. 230407

Sample from can. Pours very pale yellow. Aroma is fresh, slight citric and a vague hope note. Dry, hops and a vague malt note makes the flavour. Short finish.

Can
Hazy light blond color, no head. Almost no aroma, light cereals. Same for the taste, with a light off-flavor.

Can. Pale golden beer with a decent white head, leaving some lacings. Malt, hay and cooked vegetables in the aroma. The flavor has malt, grass and some hops, but the hops hide themselves very well until the finish. Thin body. Yet another wasted Sommerøl. (060623)

Canned. Golden colour, rich head. Very sweet, lightly malty and bready. Saccharine-like finish. Aass usually pleasant malt character is replaced by a hefty dose of saccharine...

WTF happened here? I swear I rated this beer weeks ago, but now it's gone! Well, all Norwegian "summer beers" (very light golden and bland pilsener varieties) are the work of the devil. Aass' version is one of the least miserable, but still bad. That is, it doesn't taste awful - it just doesn't taste much at all.
