0,5 l bottle. Clear dark red golden with a nearly two finger foamy white head. Looks really good. Malty smell with some straw in the background. Taste is increasing ,alty, some sweetness, smooth grain, caramel. Really nice an quaffable stuff. Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Easy drinker.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, clear, stable medium-sized off-white head; malty-caramelly nose with a nutty touch, but also with traces of metal and vegetables; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and relatively light bodied; malty and rural sweet-bitter finish.Not too great, but traces of a good franconian character are still detectable...

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a firm and thick off-white foamy head. Mildly toasted and nutty malty aroma with a touch of caramel and traces of sugar beet and woody notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malt character with mildly notes of caramel, backed by drying herbal and delicately woody hops; moderately sweet toast.malty and mildly herbal hoppy finish. 30.XI.14

Klares dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit wenig weißem Schaum. Geruch sehr malzig, scharf getreidig, etwas Karamell. Geschmack sehr malzig, etwas reife Früchte, Getreide.

Wenig würziger, dafür frisch getreidiger Antrunk mit deutlichem Hopfeneinfluss. Die Malzigkeit und damit die gesamte Würze ist leicht nussig, bleibt aber konsequent im Hintergrund. So wirkt das Bier nur wenig aromatisch, in Teilen gar mild. Im Abgang wenig getreidig, das Malz wird hier aktiver. Da das Malz keine Gegenspieler hat, bleibt es bis in den Abgang ausreichend erhalten. 10/9/10/9/11/9

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts spicy and strong, malty notes, also notes of plum. Finish is weeker, almost a bit washy. Starts good, ends bad!

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with ntoes of caramel, while the flavor is also sweet malt, but with strong notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

bottle. Clear amber-yellow colour, large off-white head. Malty nose. Medum-bodied, pleasantly malty wioth lots of roasted malt and a decent amount of aromatic hops. Slightly grainy, in the middle part the hops have the appearance of cheap hop pellets. Neverheless a more than decent brew.
