Bottle picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising and consumed at home Saturday 1st November 2025,busy cooking Honey Roasted Parsnip Soup, Roasted Beetroot and Potato Soup, a Celeriac Mushroom and Cheddar Pie, and Minced Beef and Cheddar Pie. Listening to Soulwax - All Systems are Lying. Pours amber with a busy, foaming white head. It's fine but for me it's a tad one dimensional, lacks complexity for the above. Okay so it's actually got a decent bittersweet balance, the bitterness is cutting through the malt, however aside from some caramel touches it's not got much going on.

Clear amber colour, white foam. Nose of bread crusts, toast. Taste is light sweet, bready, some caramel. Clean and easy drinkable. Good.

Klar kupferfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Süß malziger Geruch mit Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig mit Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Schinner Winterbier, jetzt mit 6 %, Flasche von Fristo, Ansbach. - Schönes Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase kräftiges toastiges Malz mit feiner Karamelsüße, Nuß und milde fränkisch-herbale Hopfung mit leisen Anklängen an Hopfenextrakt. - Antrunk satt getreidig toastmalzig mit milder karamelliger Süße und leicht unschönem Süßsauer. Solide aber aromatisch eher indifferente krautige Herbe geht in derbe Bittere über. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leicht trocken mit harter Herbe, ein wenig Zitronenschale, leicht metallisch. - Beginnt vielversprechend aber endet wie ein Industriebier. Geht gerade noch so. (6.12.2022.)

500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with fantastic, average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Weak, mellow malty aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of malt lozenge, butterscotch, minimally strawy-grassy, hoppy overtones. Taste is mellow malty, minimally dry, strawy-grassy hoppy, hints of caramel, butterscotch, subtle residual sweetness. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nice appearance, nothing special in other respects - OK.

0,5 l bottle. Clear dark red golden with a nearly two finger foamy white head. Looks really good. Malty smell with some straw in the background. Taste is increasing ,alty, some sweetness, smooth grain, caramel. Really nice an quaffable stuff. Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Easy drinker.
