Corked bottle
Hazy light amber color, with a persistent perlage that supports a generous head. The aroma shows a soapy mead character, later some herbs too, and honey. The flavor is sweet, but the bitterness of the beer clashes with the mead; and in the flavor too the herbal touch is disturbing. Controversial.

Bottled@RBESG Grand Tasting 2008
Slightly hazy orange color, small off-white head. Spicey ginger aroma, maybe slightly honeyish. A bit fizzy, honeyish mead-like flavor. Some earthyness. Alcohol in the finish. "Easier" to drink than a normal mjod.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Malts meets quite much honeyish and nectary sweetness in both the aroma and flavour. Also some slightly fruity hints. A bit like a mix of mead and beer.

RBESG08 grand tasting Mead!? Ok, that might explain some things... Haty gold colour, thick white head. Fruity honeyish malty nose. Extremely sweet taste, fruity, honey, artificial lemon juice. Odd, just odd.

HUGE honey wow... again im getting summer fruits and a intense sweet honey ... some orange peel ..Very nice but maybe a bit over sweet ... not quite as complex as i migth have hoped from RBESG but its still really quite nice .3.9
