Bootle: Poured a murky yellow with white head. Aroma is citrus and spice. The taste is tingly with spices, some foral bite. The finish keeps the tongue numb.

Huge, very fine & dense just off-white head, fed by very lively carbonated shiny golden beer. Fine citrussy & flowery, as well as slightly spicy nose. Some chalk, milk-ripe grain. As flour ground from some delicate exotic grain. Quite dry, woody taste with a hint of bitterness (that is both spicy & hoppy), and still some retronasal citrus. Very neutral main taste, however. Dry, dry, but I need some flavour. Medium bodied, alcohol mainly hidden. I would have thought more than just the aroma would have been livened up by the elderflower. Drinks quite well away, on the other hand.
