Tysk inspireret dobbeltbock. Mørkebrun maltfyldig og kraftig lagerøl. Her er ikke tale om “tynd-øl”, men virkelig en smagfuld og meget kraftig maltet “Buk-øl”. Flot brun skumtop og med duftnoter af portvin, karamel og dadler.

brown, light brown small head. aroma is toffee, roasted grains. flavor is sypruppy caramelly, flowery, brwn sugar. very nice.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, pumpernickle bread, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, pumpernickle bread, brown sugar, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted and woody finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, caramel prunes and caramel. Favour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and chocolate notes. Finished clying sweet.

Bottle at Kolding ølmesse, 2009. Pours dark brown with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is caramel and bread with vague notes of caramel and alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel. Roast, sugar, caramel and bread. Well balanced. Nice.

RB#8900: 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a minimal brown head. Mild smoked and roasted malty aroma. Flavour is subdued smoked and initially mild but slowly going more dense caramel malty. Mild tarish flavoured. Sweet caramel malty too.

Bottle 50cl @ home.Clear medium red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel it light alcoholic. (200508)

2 L Bottle from brewpub. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Clear brown nice colour. Heavy malty light hoppy good aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Loads og licorice notes. Long finish. Creamy palate. Really nice beer.
