Humlepilsner er en pilsner med ekstra meget humle. Dette giver ekstra bitterhed til øllet. Brygget på malt, to typer humle, vand og gær.

Samled at Aarhus Festival. Frothy white fair mostly deminishng head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. No more hopps than usually detected here. Boring stuff.

Draught, 4.6% at KØ07 as Refsvindinge IPA. Clear golden colour, very small head. The flavour is quite thin, but with OK malt. Not bitter, and not my idea of an IPA, but still OK. Perhaps pale ale. 6 3 6 3 15 p Bottle at ÅBF08. Weak hop aroma. Slightly buttery flavour, and quite grainy. The hops save it a bit but they are unfortunately also a bit sourish. Clear golden colour. Small white head. 5 3 5 3 11

Draft. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty and grassy, and the flavor is mainly dry and grassy, leading to a slightly bitter end, with a slightly thin body. Very light on the malt.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy golden. Vague appley nose. Medium sweet and light bodied with fresh lightly grainy malt and rather clean mouthfeel. The hop rate seems very low. As a frefreshing summer ale it works. Wonder why they named it IPA? (If my memory served me right it was also called Fynsk Humledrøm.)
