50 cl bottle that almost exploded when opening and made a mess on the table. Very light amber color, short white head, floral smell. Biscuits malts upfront with floral hops. Taste is flattish, slightly bitter, average carbonation. Light body, watery texuture, hoppy finish. Quaffable bitter.

Bottle from Morrisons (I think). Poured an orange/ amber colour with a quickly dissipating white head. Looked more like soda than beer. Aroma of caramel and sweets with a little citrus hoppyness. Initial grassy and unripened fruit bitterness, balanced by some residual toffee malt sweetness.

09/03 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing. It poured slightly murky orange body with tiny head that disappeared soon. Caramel malty and strange orange hops in aroma. Bitterish, quite strange flavor, citrus hops that are totally unfamiliar to me, biscuit malty. Really bitter for a "bitter", like some milder IPA. Still, shows some metallicity and it’s medium to thinner in body so didn’t impress me at all. Metal shows itself in the finish, too, otherwise its citrus bitter and slightly sweet at the very end. Don’t know...had high expectations of this one, it turned out to be one of the worst Broughtons. Label is still great!

Bottle from beershop.hr, shared with heavy Hazy orange-golden body, white head. Light sweetish cardboardy nose. Eggy, bitter taste, some hops, somewhat agrumey-piney. Ok beer, light and not all that exciting but decent.... could use a better malt backbone and a stronger hopiness.... buuut then it wouldn’t be what it is.

Pale amber coloured, small white head, caramellish herbal nose. Toasted malt, slight fruity and hoppy with notes of caramel. Mild hoppy finish, a bit watery beer. Average bitter.
