Bottle from unrecalled source, most likely Rasputin’s (catching up on historic ratings of Lithuanian beer). Poured a golden colour with white head. Aroma of grass, some hop with light fruity notes. Average carbonation, thin texture. Light bitterness to finish.

500ml can. Grainy nose. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Not too deep, nice malty fresh body, sweetish in the aftertaste with nearly no bitterness.

Slightly hazy pale gold color with slight head. Aroma leans towards sweetness, malt, some mustiness. taste is malty, normal lager flavors. Body is a little heavier than expected for the style. Average, but better than most American macro lagers.

50cl bottle from a Polish shop on Oxford Road, Reading. Straw with loose white head; sweet grainy aroma; similar flavour; soft and warming finish. Nothing wrong with this, but it’s not very exciting.

Refrigerated can from JoePeesie poured into a shaker. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Little lacing, light/medium body, grainy texture, and light malt aroma. Taste is grainy malt, some bread, and finishes grassy hops. Bud might be better, but Lithuania has been check off the map.

Can 500ml (Maxima, BB 10/2011)
Golden color, small white head. Corn-like sweetish aroma with hints of metal and vegetables. Light to medium bodied. Fizzy. Flavor is similar to nose: some corn-sweet maltyness, vegetables, alcohol. Very typical Baltic lager.
