Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from BS online. Pours mostly clear deep brown with a tight, frothy khaki head. Light to medium sweet flavour, a little funky, some cocoa, roast, berries, ash, cellar, musty wood, earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, subtle roast, red wine, barrel funk, berries, cobwebs. Great stuff overall. Nice depth and highly drinkable for the strength.
