Bottle 33cl @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good - fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, drain malty, moderate dark berry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. (Sweetnes is dark berry sweet). Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (160508)

Bottle at Århus Ølfestival. There’s a ruby glow in this almost black beer, and it’s topped by a nice, beige head. Alcohol, dried fruits, chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Warming, full-bodied, quite effervescent mouthfeel with flavors of dried fruit, roasted malt, coffee and hops. Quite alcoholic finish. Sure deserves a full release, not just a test batch for the festival. (080516)

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of coffee and burned malts. Full-bodied, notes of sweetish burned malt and coffee. Lightly bitter finish. Not bad at all. 290508

Bottle at ÅBF08. Sweet roasted aroma. Very dark brown colour, almost clear. Very small head. The flavour is quite sweet, a little creamy. OK, seems to have OK alcohol. Not bad.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Nice and subdued aroma of toffee and chocolate. Sweet and fruity flavour with a lot of toffee and hazelnut and a hint of burnt malt in the finish.

Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and coffee. Very smooth mouthfeel.

33 cL bottle, test brew, sweet stout, comes as Semper Ardens Mathilde. Pours dark brown with a short lived lacing tan head. Mild coffee, roasted and mild chocolate aroma, quite inviting. Medium body. Medium sweet malt with a light roasted note. Ends sweet and malty with a light roasted note.

Secret bottle at Aarhus festival. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty roasted aroma. Moderate bitter roasted flavor with strong chocolate notes. Slightly sweet. Average finish. Oily palate.
