Bottle. A clear, deep golden beer with a beige to off-white head of moderate size. Some anice notes on the aroma, with caramel and dried fruits and a little something reminiscent of oxidation. Sweet, slightly syrupy flavor with a faint dms note, some dried fruits and a fine hop profile. A little bit weak flavor though. Full-bodied. Long, sweet finish with caramel and dried fruits. Nothing more than decent, but it improves as the glass is emptied. (090328)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, warm amber with basically no head. Aroma of malt and pumpernickel. Quite full-bodied with sweetish roasted malt and some burned caramel. Has a metallic whiff also. Very low in carbonation. Some hops and alcohol in the finish. Quite solid but the head and carbonation was no good. 281208
