Poured from a 16 oz can.
Aroma is a balance of hops and malt with light bready grain notes and light hop notes of grapefruit, lemon, lime and tropical citrus. Hints of alcohol.
Pours a clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is a bit sweet with medium light bready grain notes. Medium high bitterness and hints of alcohol. Moderately strong hop notes with grapefruit pith, grapefruit, lemon, lime, tropical citrus and lighter notes of pine resin. The resin notes linger a bit in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and somewhat crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast pilsner with a nice hoppy character, especially in the flavor. Alcohol is well hidden and it's somewhat crisp. Stronger bitterness.
