Capped 750 from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Thanks to osu97gp for the gush warning. I cracked the cap a bit and had to let it drip in the glass for quite awhile. Only lost a couple drops. Pours hazy dark amber/brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma is sort of mild bacon. Med minus body. Flavor is sort of smoked something with mild fruit and medium spice. I’m wondering why it isn’t under gruit, but I guess rules are rules. Interesting drink. It gets better with a little passing of time. Interesting drink. Oops. Well it is.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Smoky, roasted and fruity aroma with notes of berries and raisins. Fruity, tangy and slightly roasted taste with notes of smoked malt, berries and dried fruit.

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy brown beer. Hazy brown beer. Another tasty beer from this brewery but the combination of over dry palate and low carbonation continues to distract from the unusual and nice flavour.

Draft at BP Dupont. Unfiltered brown, maybe oa touch of amber. Mellow and malt centered, some nice fruity pineapple nuances. Easy drinking, a nice balance between the smoked malts and Rowan berries. Exceptional balance, great beer.

Süßlicher Geruch, pfirsichartig. Sehr eigener Antrunk, deutlich hefig und fruchtig. Die vorhandene Rauchigkeit ist nicht wirklich stark und ist daher nicht im Vordergrund auffindbar. Kräuterartig werden, die Fruchtigkeit ist weiter erkennbar. Im Abgang holzig und harzig Nettes und abwechslungsreiches Bier.

Bottled. Rubyish brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some slight smoked wet wood as well as mild herbal notes as well as some earth cellary notes. Flavour is sweet, but roasted malts along with some smoked wet wood and mild grassy/earthy notes.
