Bottle from Wine Warehouse on 08/15/2009. Slightly cloudy brown body with a medium frothy off-white head and some light chunkiness. Big spicy aroma, with some fruitiness and a bit of floral notes. Big smoke flavor, with some fruity and floral notes. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

On tap at Horsens Beerfestival. Hazy, dark orange body with a small beige head. Aroma is moderate malty with a hint smoke. Flavor is sweet malt, with a hint of smoke, some caramel, a bit fruity and hops. A nice, mild smoked and smooth ale.

Medium lasting offwhite head. Hazy amber body. Mild fruity peach aroma with grainy yeasty notes. Dry-sweet yeasty tea taste with peachy floral notes. Some light smoke as well. Really unusual herbs in this. Dry, mild hoppy floral aftertaste. Very nice. (0.1l taster cask at EBF ’08.)

bottle from allerød vinhandel, best before nov.09. aroma : beer, roasted notes, berries or fruits. nice.unclear brown with a lot of stuff floating around (i might’ve poured it too hard). nice vanilla head. Roasted notes dominates, after that i get brown sugar, not burnt suger, brown. faint hint of fruit or berries. strange brew, but it tastes alright, good actually. but very unlike what i’ve tried before. high marks for not having the smoked flavors taking over entirely.

Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008.Unclear amber brown color with a average, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light myrtle, smoke and rowan berries notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (170508)

Cask @Redlight. Deep amber color, full creamy beige head, Medium smoky aroma with spicy hops (or is it the bog myrtle) and caramelized malts. Lightly smoked flavor, more caramelized malts and a lightly tart fruitiness that could come from the berries. Spiciness skirts the edges in the flavor. Light palate and carbonation from the cask conditioning. Very unique and interesting.
