Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown color with a thin off white cap of a head. No lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate, some roasted malts and then some light coffee.
The flavor leans to the dry sweet side of the milk chocolate, seems like cocoa powder. Then some earthiness. All seems to come together in the aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a low carbonation to it. Somewhat smooth with an acceptable bitterness coming about. ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done stout worthy of many more pours.

Keg at the Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy tan head. Milk chocolate in the aroma, with light roasted malts and hints of coffee. Medium sweet flavour with notes of ashy roast, baking cocoa, bitter coffee grounds, scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation and creamy texture. Moderately bitter to finish, with more scorched earth and baking cocoa. Good one.
