Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Premier Gourmet, near Buffalo. Pours pretty much clear orange with a frothy, mostly white head. The nose holds ripening citrus, orange, crusty bread, gooey pine, marmalade. Medium sweet flavour with moderate piney bitterness, crackery malts, rindy orange, more jammy citrus. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some resinous pine, lightly toasted pale malts, some white grape, more ripe citrus. Really not an ’East Coast IPA’ in the modern sense of the term. A little ham-fisted. Drinkable, but not the best.
