A one off special aged in a Burgundy French oak cask for 9 months. Rippling with fruit and chilli this Black IPA is a combination of mouthfeel, fire and wood.

Draft at Craft Beer Rising 2014 - London. Pours clear, dark brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose holds wood and dried fruits. Light to medium sweet flavour, somewhat earthy, with a bit of alcohol, burnt wood, dirt, a little chili. Medium boided with fine carbonation. Finishes with earthy bitterness, moderate chili spice, dry bread, lots of ashy roast. So so overall.
