Keg at the brewery. Opaque dark brown coloured pour with a lasting sticky off white head. Aroma is leather , wax jacket, nutty. Light ashy roast. Flavour is composed if light nutty, burnt toast. , light ash, plastic, shoe leather. Palate is powdery. Dry grains, highish carbonation. Crayons.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours deep black-brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma holds dusty cocoa, light roast, dried dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with some woody dryness, leathery dark fruits, scorched earth, faint smoke. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Burnt wood in the finish, baking cocoa, dry wood, earth, leathery berries. Pretty good stuff.
