Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some mild messy lace
Aroma: rich nutty character, lots of caramel/toffee malts, earthiness, cocoa powder and dark bread
Flavor: nutty sweet with some dry earrhy to bready tones to balance; nutty semi-sweet dry and toasty aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, nutty and toasty finish
Overall: this could be an English brown ale depending upon who you talk to. Still, a good brown ale worthy of coming back to.

Can at home in NH. Picked up in Waterbury at the beer shop: pours clear red-brown with a creamy, khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with nicely toasted grains, biscuits, accents of brown bread, cocoa, caramel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decently balanced finish. Drinkable stuff.
