In this Lakes Brew x Simple Things collaboration for Collabageddon 2022, floral and fruity New Zealand hops run right through and all over a solid malt base. Dark Crystal malts are deployed to impart complimentary notes of burnt caramel, toffee and honey in and around layers of floral, tropical and grapefruit-lime citrus from Nelson Sauvin, Wai-iti and Motueka. Fresh, crisp and full bodied with a dry, bitter finish.

Keg at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours unclear copper with a thick, creamy off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with subtle pine, toasted malts, whole grains, light nutty qualities, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more mild pine, toasted malts, nuts, faint grass. Tasty and very drinkable.
