Beim Abläutern verwenden wir nur die hochwertige Vorderwürze und geben unserem Starkbier im eiskalten Lagerkeller bis zu 12 Wochen Reife. So kann unser Bock seinen starken Malzkörper am besten entfalten.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, herbs, dried apricots, honey and orange peel. Malty taste with bread, a touch of caramel, dried apricots, honey, orange peel and a mild herbal/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Laid back and harmonious bock. Nice one.

0.5L bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet notes malts some mushrooms notes and spice. Taste is more of the nice spice mushrooms earthy notes some pitfruit.

Fläschla (vom Liebick): Clear, golden, low head, visible carbonation, mild to moderate honeyish-fruity aroma, shy traces of pale malt, low bitterness, well hidden alk, moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 18*, pretty soft; slightly lingering honeyish-malty finish with a late, balancing bitterness in the aftertaste and a mild alcohol-burn. Not bad, a kind of Session-Doppelbock…

Bottle picked up from Hier Gibt's Bier webshop Eckersdorf Franconia Bayern and consumed at home Saturday 5th March 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music. Pours warm gold, good clarity with a white head, lovely softness, nice maltiness, the abv is really well integrated, there is a metallic tang. Very good.
