Beim Abläutern verwenden wir nur die hochwertige Vorderwürze und geben unserem Starkbier im eiskalten Lagerkeller bis zu 12 Wochen Reife. So kann unser Bock seinen starken Malzkörper am besten entfalten.

Aroma is malty with honey, some berries and grain. Flavour is also rather malty with gluey notes, some berries, grain, hints of fruits, toffee and grassy hops. Heller bock is still not my favourite style.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Honeyish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some mild notes of sweetness. Flavour is caramel malts, rather cripsy and spicyness as well as some mild bitterness. Alcohol is showing quite well. Otherwise quite nicely balanced, but a bit burning

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and alcohol as well as lighter notes of straw, leading to a bitter finish. Nice body.

Bottle, kindly provided by pivnizub. Hazy amber, low carbonation, tanned creamy head. Light honeyish malt and very light flowery hop aroma. Fruity base, light nuts, good hop balance, ends on a clementine note, slightly sticky sugary mouthfeel. 50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Mild spiced malty aroma with a light hoppy note. Sweet malty flavoured and light caramel malty. Mild sweet lingering finish with a mild bitterness uplifting into the far finish.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet bready malt aroma with notes of biscuits, a shy floral hoppy touch and alcohol presence. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Pale and cara-malty base with light herbal notes; moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with notes of alcohol and delicate hoppy notes, giving balance. Likeable Bock (11.X.08).

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a dense white head. Clean and malty aroma. Medium body with very sweet malts. Alcoholic finish again with a somewhat raw bitterness and some sulphur. 041008

Bottle, 7.5%. Clear shiny golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off a little sweet, malty and sugary. Rough bitterness to balance. A good standard Bock.

Bottle. Medium to dark amber brown color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, wheat, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (030508)

Bottled. Golden colour. Aroma of honey and herbal spices. Sweet and richly malty with soft mouthfeel and some grassy hoppiness. Rather bitter finish. A good bockbier.
