From handpump at Dog & Bell, Deptford, with Terje, 17.03.24. Slightly hazy straw colour. Fine aroma and taste of apple peel, cider apples and dried peach. Some bitterness is lingering on. Good!

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Slightly hazy goldeny orange colour with no head. Aroma is apples, some farmyard, earth and mild yeasty notes. Flavour is sweet and tart apples with some earthy and mild wooden and vanillaish notes. Rather dry palate. Tasty.

Polypin @ 11th Ayrshire Real Ale Festival. Listed at 6.5%. Unclear green-golden colour, no head. Aroma is medium sour apple, massive cheese. Flavour is sour apple and a little boozy. Low carbonation. Slightly sweet and sour finish.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Hazy medium orange color with virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing head. Aroma is apple, barnyard, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a dry dry finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat flat. (030508)

[i] Polypin at Merton Summer Beer Festival September 2004, sticker staes 7.2% [/i] Poured golden but there was a slight haze, initially sweet but this was quickly followed by a sharpness, once yet settled down with this it was a very nice little cider strength never really comes across either too much.
