Our classic export strength brown porter recipe, brewed with a mixture Simpsons double roasted crystal, red crystal rye and amber malts was conditioned on 150kg date syrup. Fermented with a kveik yeast producing additional dark fruit flavours. Layers of dark rich fruit from the malt, yeast and fruit combine to produce a complex yet drinkable porter.

Tap at CAJS for the Holy Goat BPBW 2025 tap takeover. Thx Barba, Elena and Vášek! Pitch black body, off-white, thick head. Coffee and something maple-like in the roasty aroma. Lean, dry, sweetish taste, simplistic, coffee roastiness and dates, with light chocolate, solid.

Can from Against The Grain. Dark brown body with a thick beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisin, raspberry and biscuit. Flavour of prune and filter coffee. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is a rich, fruity, well balanced porter. Holy Goat are on fire just now.
