Dark brown. Thin head. Has a light blackberry aroma with a touch of leafy hop. The malts have a touch of sweetness, with a medium bitterness. With a hit of that leafy hop character. It's good, maybe not the hoppiest, but happy to have it.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium beige head. Aroma is pretty restrained, with toasted malt, some muted earthy hops, and a hint of roast. Flavour has dry roasted malt, earthiness, restrained hops, and gentle pine. Nice roast, but a bit deficient on the hops. Good stuff.

473mL can. Pours black with a beige head. Roasted malts, some chocolate, a touch pine. Flavour has roasted malts, a bit bready, some dry pine, bitter finish. Could definitely use more hops and more roast, but still a black IPA so hard to complain.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, but extremely dark, brown with orange glints and a monstrous foamy tan head that started out doing a Guinness. It laced. Aroma is dark, almost rye, breadiness with a lot of citrus/pine. Med plus body (due to excellent carbonation). Flavor is pretty much the aroma. Malty/darkly bready and not quite dry. Bitter pine/citrus with a light touch of chocolate. Not my fav style, but this one is very tasty!
