Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the Lab. Opens with a loud hiss. Pours deep brown with a billowing, foamy beige head. The aroma holds moderate roast, some berries, suggestions of chocolate. Light to medium sweet flavour with lots of ripening, almost tangy berry character, some earth, cocoa, leather, vague smoked malts. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes a little sticky sweet, with gooey ripe berries, raisins, chocolate, roasted malts. So so overall.
