Cask. Orangeish golden colour with a small slightly off-white head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is caramel malts, mild crystal malty notes as well as some nutty and wooden notes along with some mild floral notes. Flavour is being rather similar, but the wooden notes are more evident than they are in the aroma,

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium yellow amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Beautifuuly clear amber/gold, thin beige. Decent hoppy aroma, bit of farty yeast. It’s a bitter, quite interesting. Down as Bays Bitter but the ABV is the same.
