Tap. Ours deep clear chestnut, small creamy tan head, great lacing. Aroma is chocolate, chocolate, more chocolate. Flavor is heavy chocolate, cocoa puffs, a bit of roast. Medium sweet, medium bitter, a bit of saccharine. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Cask version at Barley’s 3rd Annual Mini RAF (04/16/05): Opaque black color with a medium thin and rocky light beige head. The aroma is chocolate and a bit of roasted malt. Rich and velvety smooth body, this is darn close to a cold glass of chocolate milk. Chocolate, malt and vanilla are all understated yet tasty. The finish is clean and creamy with a milk chocolate aftertaste. Good stuff.
