Our take on a traditional Bitter. A delicate balance of honey, citrus and light floral notes leads to a subtly spicy finish.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a murky golden brown with a generous white head and good lacing. There is a subtle aroma of malts and autumn fruits here. In the mouth it is creamy and slightly sweet and chewy. Malts are to the fore in the flavour along with stewed apples and barley usgar sweets. Some hints of cloves as well. Finish is sweet and malty. This is a reasonable beer.
