Dark brown color. Thin palate, particularly for the style. High alcohol is hidden but this beer is low on the flavors i associate with an old ale without the palate of the British beers.

On tap at Black Sheep. Pours a clear deep amber with a brown hue and light brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma is mild with notes of bread, cracker and some sweet grains. Flavor has lots of grains with a slight sweetness and a bit of bread underlying.
