A traditional IPA brewed in the old style brewed with only Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt it is a deep golden ale with a thirst quenching bitterness. Five different Kent hops - Bramling Cross, Target, WGV, Goldings and Northdown - have been added in five charges to the beer. Four charges in the copper and then a final charge as dry hops in the conditioning tank.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, buttery notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Gold with thin white head. Decent English IPA. Rather lovely citrus hops, over a fullish toffeeish malt base. Hops are outstanding. Really good balanced beer. Lovely drying tasty hop on finish. Superb.
