Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium red brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, fruity, wheat ? Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and very smooth, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 7/5/08. Deep brown with a decent tan head. Plenty of slightly roasted malt and red fruit in the aroma. More of the same in the flavour, with a touch of chocolate malt and some earthy hops in the finish. Enjoyable.
