Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours unclear, deep orange with a frothy, mostly white head. The aroma is interesting, with some ripening citrus fruits, orange, grass, pine, crackers. Light-medium sweet flavour with a light soapy note, some meringue and tangerine, rindy bitterness, doughy malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with grassy and rindy bitterness, more doughy and also grainy pale malts, nips of berries, ripe orange. Novel, but just so so overall.
