This ale is a celebration of English hops and a very old English tradition. Brewed to the high strength of the original style of India Pale Ales as first made at the end of the 18th century when IPA was robust enough for a long, slow sea voyage. Bright golden coloured with a dry, citrusy and very full flavour. What IPA should be!

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Cask gravity at Easter Festival, Chambers, Folkestone. Golden copper with lasting off white head. Dark Star citrus hoppy aroma. Bit sweet in mouth with some sweet orange. Bit of earthiness. very nice finish. Citrus, grapefruit but with a sweetish edge.
