Fra fat på Garrick Arms: klar lys gylden med fint skum. Ut over det er det ikke så mye å berette, dette er en generisk industrilager, sannsynligvis samme øl som Sherlock Holmes House Lager. Utterly forgettable.

Draught in the beer garden at Dirty Bottles. Increased score with the atmosphere and beautiful weather. Also, it looks like this is relatively new that they are brewing this for this inn and pub. Great start to Alnwick.

Keg at Maltsters Arms, Tuckenhay. Vague doughy floral aroma. Copper gold. No head. Light bitter. Sharp citrus edge. Slightly sickly lagery afterthought into the finish. Light bodied. Thin but with some chalkiness. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. OK. Dry enough and with that sharp kick to maintain some interest.
